Jena Lesar is a licensed acupuncturist who received her training at Ongiara College of Acupuncture and Moxibustion in Ontario, Canada. She is board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NACCAOM) and is licensed by the State Medical Board of Ohio. Acupuncture addresses imbalances on all levels – physical, mental, and emotional. Its vast capacity to reach and support the whole of a person is what inspires Jena to work with this ancient form of medicine.
By incorporating many techniques including acupuncture, gua sha, moxibustion, and cupping, Jena offers gentle treatments in a compassionate and supportive environment that help bring her patients back into balance by treating both symptoms and the root cause of the imbalance. She is trained in several different styles of acupuncture — Five Element, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Japanese, and Korean Hand Therapy — all of which provide her with a variety of approaches to work with her patients and their individual needs. While Jena treats a wide range of conditions, she has a special interest in acute and chronic pain management, emotional wellness, and women’s health.
